Vineyard location: Canale - Piedmont - Italy.
This is where Arneis was born. The first historical reference to this vine dates back to 1478.
Soil: Sandy-calcareous, with presence of clay. Altitude 300 metres, south-east exposure.
Harvest time: End of August - beginning of September.
Vinification: After a gentle whole cluster pressing, half of the must undergoes fermentation and maturation in stainless steel and bâtonnage for 10/12 months.
The remaining half ferments and matures in French tonneaux for the same period.
Sensory profile: The colour is a brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections.
The bouquet is very expressive, with floral, citrus and white peach notes. Aromatic herbs and mineral notes are recalled. The taste is full and deep, supported by a pleasant acidity, it has a soft and harmonious finish. It pairs well with fish dishes, sushi, elaborate pasta dishes and risotto. Perfect with creamy, fresh and medium-aged cheeses.
