We were not satisfied only cultivating the lands around the wine house. We grew up on the desire to find the best plots of land where we could grow native vines from Roero and the Langhe: Arneis in Canale, Barbera in Castellinaldo, Nebbiolo in Vezza d’Alba and Castagnito and Barolo from one of our most renown crus, Ginestra of Monforte d’Alba.
Enrico e Marco FaccendaThere are wineries that represent a territory, others that are the territory. For four generations, Cascina Chicco has made the decision to cultivate and vinify the best vines of Roero and the Langhe. A choice of the most privileged areas, which over the years, has let us identify the best vines to express the unique interpretation of each terroir.
Today, Cascina Chicco oversees over 50 hectares of the most historic vineyards of Canale, Vezza d’Alba, Castellinaldo, Castagnito, and recently, Monforte d’Alba, where wine is made from two historic and prestigious crus: Ginestra and Castelletto.
